Morning Cocktail?

with 2 comments

I don’t know about you, but I’m rarely looking for a drink at 6:15 in the morning.  Seriously folks, accessibility to alcohol this early in the day is catering to an element that we need to address.

  1. I like the time of day and lighting for this location. You have done a great job of keeping this blog active and you are developing some interesting content. Alcohol and drugs are certainly one of every city’s problems. When I left there were 45,000 heroin users in Baltimore. On a positive note, the murder rate is lower now than it was 10 years ago.

Sometimes I miss good old B-More.

  2. Thanks Jay. It’s been a challenge to juggle both blogs, weddings, other small gigs and, oh yeh, my family. Fortunately, Sara is very supportive of my photography and understands what I’m trying to accomplish. Once I’m able to carve out some time, I do plan to get up close and personal with a few of these people — Photo essays are on the horizon.

The cool part…I’m really excited about my commutes to and from work. Photos or not, I find myself driving slower, soaking up the people and streets that have always been around me. The disparity between where we live and the neighborhoods just a few miles south on York Road are astounding. Definitely seeing things in a new light.

Lemme know if/when you’re ever back on the “right” coast and good ole Charm City. Be great to catch up.
